Qualifications:
ARDMS certification in OB/GYN required Proficiency in general ultrasound, specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine Experience following AIUM and ACOG protocols Strong patient assessment skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Commitment to compliance, safety, and professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging and procedures per physician direction Adhere to established protocols, ensuring accurate study images and data Prepare patients, explain procedures, and provide ultrasound-guided assistance to physicians Maintain equipment cleanliness, safety, and functionality, reporting maintenance needs Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Schedule and manage add-on or emergency exams with efficiency and courtesy Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, order entry, and exam tracking Uphold institutional policies, particularly regarding fit for duty, HIPAA, and infection control Participate actively in peer review, department meetings, and process improvement initiatives
