Header Duties Operate various ultrasound imaging systems to perform procedures such as prenatal, gynecological, abdominal, breast, echocardiography, and vascular ultrasounds with precision and care. Ensure the highest standards of patient care by explaining procedures clearly, maintaining comfort, and adhering to aseptic techniques throughout all imaging processes. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret ultrasound results accurately and communicate findings effectively. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Manage medical imaging equipment operation, including Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), to store, retrieve, and share diagnostic images efficiently. Follow safety protocols related to medical imaging and uphold strict aseptic techniques to prevent infections during procedures. Assist in specialized diagnostic areas such as women's health diagnostics, gynecological ultrasound, breast ultrasound, vascular technology diagnostics, and prenatal ultrasound assessments. Header Skills Profound knowledge of maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn), and women's health patient care principles. Expertise in operating medical imaging equipment for diverse ultrasound procedures including echocardiography, vascular ultrasound imaging, abdominal ultrasound, breast ultrasound, and gynecological ultrasound. Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to diagnostic radiology and sonography practices. Skilled in medical terminology, communication skills for patient interaction, and teamwork within multidisciplinary healthcare settings. Experience with medical equipment operation, PACS systems, EMR/EHR platforms, and maintaining detailed technical records. Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during invasive or sterile procedures. Ability to interpret diagnostic images accurately while adhering to best practices in women's health diagnostics and gynecology diagnostics.
