Date posted: July 23, 2026 Join a supportive clinical team focused on highquality patient care! Springfield Medical Clinic is seeking a part-time, experienced sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound studies in our outpatient vein clinic.
Pay:
$35.00 per hour - $40 per hour. Negotiable and based on experience.
Job description:
Vascular Sonographer, specializing in Venous Reflux Studies to evaluate and quantify chronic venous insufficiency and provide ultrasound guidance during venous ablation procedures.
Duties:
Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations such as carotid, AAA, venous duplex to evaluate DVT and chronic venous insufficiency, vein mapping. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and adherence to safety protocols. Assist physicians by providing clear, detailed images for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain thorough documentation of procedures within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Demonstrated ability to operate medical imaging equipment including Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS). Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to accurately interpret ultrasound findings. Follow aseptic techniques and infection control procedures to ensure patient safety during imaging procedures. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare providers. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Experience with venous reflux exams, strong image acquisition skills, RVT or RVS, and RPhS preferred.
