Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Springfield, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and construction personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation-related construction areas, access points, parking areas, staging locations, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorization as directed, and reporting unauthorized access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services and/or supervisors when required.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
