Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in general ultrasound imaging Registered or registry eligible as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent credentialing preferred) Familiarity with performing diagnostic ultrasounds in a clinic-based setting Comfortable working with patients of diverse ages and conditions Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate findings to healthcare team members Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and managing digital imaging equipment

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a range of general ultrasound examinations as ordered by healthcare providers Explain imaging procedures to patients and ensure their comfort throughout each procedure Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to produce pertinent imaging results that aid in diagnosis and treatment planning Ensure quality assurance practices are upheld for all imaging studies Handle equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and calibration to meet safety and operational standards Document test results and maintain patient records within the clinics EMR system
