No Nights, No Weekends Part-Time / Casual | Outpatient Vein Clinic Position Summary We are seeking a credentialed Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join our vein clinic team on a part-time or casual basis. In this role you will perform diagnostic duplex ultrasound examinations to evaluate venous disorders, supporting our physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency, DVT, and related conditions. Flexible scheduling is available to fit your availability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform venous duplex ultrasound studies (reflux mapping, DVT protocols) Conduct pre- and post-procedure imaging for venous ablation and sclerotherapy. Assist physician with ablation procedures. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment per manufacturer and ICAVL standards Document findings accurately in EMR; prepare reports for physician review Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures clearly Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant exam room Collaborate with medical staff to ensure continuity of care Stay current with vascular ultrasound best practices and CME requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Active RVT credential (ARDMS or CCI required) RDMS (vascular) or RVS credential preferred Minimum 1-2 years of vascular ultrasound experience Proficiency with lower extremity venous duplex scanning Experience in a vein clinic or outpatient setting a plus Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Current BLS/CPR certification Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Athena)
Schedule & Employment Details Part-time:
1-2 days per month; flexible scheduling to meet clinic needs Day shift hours; no evenings or on-call required. Opportunity to transition to full-time based on practice growth
