Clinical - Fertility / Reproductive Imaging About Us We are a leading Reproductive Fertility Center based in Beverly Hills, dedicated to helping individuals and couples achieve their family-building goals. Our practice combines cutting-edge reproductive technology with compassionate, patient-centered care. We are currently seeking a uniquely skilled professional who holds both Medical Assistant (MA) certification and Sonography (Ultrasound) credentials to join our clinical team. Position Summary This is a hybrid role that blends diagnostic imaging expertise with clinical support. You will perform fertility-focused ultrasounds (cycle monitoring, follicle tracking, endometrial assessment) while also serving as a certified MA—rooming patients, updating medical histories, assisting with procedures, and supporting our fertility specialists. This dual role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Sonography Duties (Focused on Fertility): Perform transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds for follicle monitoring, lining checks, and early pregnancy assessments. Measure and document ovarian follicle size, endometrial thickness, and uterine/ovarian anomalies. Prepare high-quality sonographic images and preliminary reports for physician review. Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Medical Assistant Duties:
Escort patients to exam rooms; obtain vital signs, medical history, and cycle day information. Assist physicians during procedures (e.g., egg retrievals, embryo transfers, IUI). Administer intramuscular/subcutaneous injections as directed (if state scope permits). Handle phone triage, patient education, and coordinate with the clinical team. Manage inventory of medical supplies and handle basic front/back-office clinical tasks. Required Qualifications Active MA Certification (e.g., CMA, RMA, NHA) - California compliant. Active Sonography Certification (ARDMS or equivalent) - Must include OB/GYN credential (RDMS-OB/GYN or RDMS-AB with OB/GYN experience). Fertility ultrasound experience strongly preferred. At least 1 year of experience performing OB/GYN or infertility-focused ultrasounds. Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA). Ability to work in a high-volume, reproductive outpatient setting with sensitivity to patients' emotional and physical needs. Preferred Qualifications Experience with
EMR/EIVF
