- + Maintains American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
- Skills
- + Following Protocols + Equipment operation + Patient Identification + Documentations + Customer Service + Management Reporting + Vascular + Cleaning + Imaging Techniques + Anatomical Knowledge + Prioritize Tasks + Effective communication + Independent work + Teamwork + Emergency response + Image evaluation + Equipment operation
- Qualifications Ultrasound Technologist I
- + Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) - Successful completion of one registry pertinent to the department beyond physics (options include OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, pediatric, and vascular) + Health Services\BCLS - Basic life support (Certification for Healthcare Providers)
- Preferred Qualifications
- + 1 or more years of experience.
- Required Qualifications Ultrasound Technologist II
- + Must have completed a minimum of two additional years of experience relevant to the department post obtaining Ultrasound Tech I.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Additional experience + Additional registries + Vascular experience
- Physical Requirements
- + Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
