Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract Step into a vital role specializing in cardiac diagnostic imaging, offering your expertise as an Echo Tech. In this dynamic contract position, you'll be an essential part of a collaborative healthcare team, using advanced echocardiography techniques to support outstanding patient care.
Qualifications:
Current certification as an Echo Tech (RDCS or CCI preferred) Proficient in performing and interpreting echocardiograms, including M-Mode, 2D, and Doppler Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology Experience with imaging equipment and PACS systems Detail-oriented with excellent communication and patient interaction skills CPR/BLS certification required Previous experience in a medical imaging or cardiac setting highly desirableResponsibilities:
Conduct accurate and thorough echocardiographic examinations on patients as ordered by physicians Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and proper positioning Utilize up-to-date imaging techniques and protocols to deliver high quality diagnostic results Record, analyze, and prepare preliminary reports for physician review Maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards Properly document procedures and maintain accurate electronic records Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to assist with patient diagnoses and care planning This contract opportunity offers a professionally rewarding environment where your specialized expertise will enhance patient outcomes.
