Job Description

Category Imaging - Echo Job Type Contract A skilled professional is needed for a contract position specializing in echocardiography. The ideal candidate is proficient in imaging—particularly echo modalities—and brings experience as an Echo Tech. This role supports ongoing diagnostic imaging services and requires a detail-oriented approach to cardiac assessments.
Key Qualifications:
Credentialed as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent certification Demonstrated experience performing echocardiograms independently Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and imaging protocols Familiarity with standard echo machinery and software Attention to detail with excellent documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and care teams Current CPR/BLS certification Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct various echocardiographic procedures, including 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, and stress echoes Record and interpret diagnostic images following established protocols Provide technical explanations to patients and address their concerns during procedures Maintain proper care and functionality of imaging equipment Ensure all documentation meets ethical and regulatory requirements Assist with workflow management and maintain timely patient throughput Communicate findings concisely to cardiology staff and other clinicians
