HIRING FOR

2nd and 3rd SHIFTS! Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using safe lifting practices such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques. Monitor vital signs and observe changes in residents' conditions, reporting findings accurately in medical documentation systems like EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records). Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Assist with feeding. Facilitate patient transfers using appropriate transfer methods and equipment while ensuring safety for both residents and staff. Engage with residents through meaningful communication, promoting mental health and cognitive engagement, especially in dementia or Alzheimer's care settings. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in acute care, long-term care, hospice, or behavioral health environments to deliver comprehensive patient service. Qualifications Valid CNA certification with current state licensure required. Experience working with geriatric patients or in long-term care facilities strongly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and basic life support (BLS). Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. Strong communication skills for caregiving and team collaboration in fast-paced healthcare settings.
