Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Vascular Ultrasound Technician, where you will play a vital role in diagnosing and evaluating vascular conditions through advanced imaging techniques. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in vascular ultrasound imaging, cardiac diagnostics, and interventional procedures to improve patient outcomes. You will work closely with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment dedicated to excellence in patient care. Your skills in physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and medical equipment operation will be essential in delivering precise diagnostic evaluations and supporting interventional radiology procedures. Pay:
$40•50/hour (W-2)
Contract Length:
6-8 weeks accepted
Shift:
Days, 5x8s (7:45 AM•4:30 PM, 40 hrs/week)
Ratios:
1:5; Avg. census 6-9 patients
Requirements Experience:
Minimum 2 years

Certifications:
ARDMS ARDMS RVT BLS
Skills Needed Core Vascular Studies:
Abdominal aorta, renal/bladder, arterial grafts, arterial mapping Carotid, dialysis grafts, duplex, doppler studies Lower/upper extremity arterial & venous Renal artery duplex, stents, transcranial doppler Peripheral vascular resistance, m‑mode, color flow
Preferred Skills:
Broad vascular experience across multiple modalities
Patient & Unit Details Patient Diagnoses:
Vein problems, swelling, dialysis, port placement
Special Procedures:
Mesenteric, AIC, CDUS, AAA, ABI Equipment:
Imaging software:
Picom Machines:
Philips Systems:
EPIC / PICOM
Orientation:
24 hours + hospital orientation week one
Scrubs:
Blue, grey, or black Notes No call, float, or weekend requirements•a stable daytime schedule.
Pay:
$45.00•$50.00 per hour
