Position Summary:
Provide high-quality screening and diagnostic breast imaging while delivering exceptional, compassionate care to patients throughout their breast imaging experience. This position works collaboratively with radiologists and other members of the Breast Center team to provide timely, accurate, and patient-centered care. Perform screening and diagnostic mammography in accordance with departmental protocols and established standards. Perform breast ultrasound examinations when qualified and competent. Assist with and/or perform breast imaging procedures, including: Ultrasound-guided breast procedures Stereotactic breast procedures Needle localizations Other specialized breast imaging procedures within scope of competency Maintain compliance with ACR, MQSA, hospital, departmental, and regulatory requirements.
Position Qualification:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Current ARRT certification and registration as required for the position. Current ARRT Mammography certification/registry. Current BLS certification. Meet all applicable MQSA requirements for mammography personnel.
