Job Description

Overview We are a busy vascular surgery practice in Cypress, TX. We perform a breadth of vascular imaging including carotid, mesenteric/renal/aorta, hemodialyis access, venous upper/lower including reflux, arterial upper/lower including bypass graft surveillance sonography. We also perform noninvasive studies including ABI, segmental pressures, dialysis associated steal syndrome evaluation and more. We are seeking a skilled Vascular sonographer to join our team. You will be working closely with 3 other vascular techs, our nurse practitioners and our surgeon. The sonographer will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations using ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for medical interpretation. Applicants are expected to be facile at scanning, but we are also open to training. New grads welcome to apply Duties Conduct ultrasound scans to assist in the diagnosis of various vascular conditions Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and ensure patient comfort Provide exceptional patient care during ultrasound procedures Utilize sonography techniques to capture images of arterial and venous structures Apply physiology knowledge to optimize image quality Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound results accurately Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge Maintain aseptic technique during procedures for infection control Qualifications Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field RVT/RVS certification (required) Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control practices Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals Prior experience in conducting ultrasound scans is preferred but not required, particularly vascular sonography Job Type Part time, with possible transition to full time for the right candidate Evenings and weekends may be required Benefits available for full time employees

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
