Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in the Houston area. This on-site role is perfect for experienced clinicians who are passionate about making a direct impact in a school setting, with a particular focus on bilingual communication (English/Spanish). The position is available for immediate start and extends through June 5, 2027, offering long-term stability for dedicated professionals.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC required) Minimum of one year experience working in a school setting Fluency in both English and Spanish Experience with elementary populations; self-contained classroom background is a plus Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families No SLPA or Clinical Fellows (CFs) considered

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, supporting bilingual language development Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and provide thorough evaluations Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams and families to support student success Travel to elementary campuses within the district as required
