Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging and providing exceptional patient care. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using advanced imaging equipment. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the examination process, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort. Properly position patients and equipment to obtain accurate, high-quality diagnostic images. Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure all required images are obtained according to established protocols. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals as needed regarding imaging procedures and findings. Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation of examinations performed. Follow established safety, infection-control, and patient-care protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional imaging environment. Properly operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment as needed. Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and excellent patient-care skills at all times. Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or in a comparable diagnostic imaging role. Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles, techniques, and equipment operation. Ability to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while following established protocols. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience with additional imaging modalities, such as CT or X-ray , is a plus. Experience performing procedures using aseptic/sterile technique in environments such as the Emergency Department (ER) or operating room (OR) is preferred. Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to patient safety.
