Job Description
Ultrasound Technologist -PRN Position Summary The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonography examinations using high-frequency sound waves to visualize internal organs, tissues, and vascular structures. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions while providing compassionate patient care and maintaining patient safety. The Ultrasound Technologist reports to the Office Manager of Blue Star Imaging and is a PRN position based in Frisco, TX. Key Responsibilities Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders. Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images with proper positioning and technique. Review patient history and clinical indications to tailor imaging procedures appropriately. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the procedure Evaluate image quality and make adjustments to optimize diagnostic value. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to provide accurate and timely imaging results. Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and exam logs within the
