University Drive, Prosper Texas 75078 Work hours: Part Time, 24 Hours; Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 7:00am•3:30; Call required Radiology Department Highlight Flexible staff schedules Delivery of high-quality patient care through staff development State of the Art imaging equipment Great opportunity to expand skills What You Will Need H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Ultrasound Technology preferred Associates degree preferred 2 years of clinical experience in hospital radiology preferred ARRT•American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and one additional modality upon hire required
OR ARDMS
•American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers with 2 certifications upon hire required AND RVT or VT(RVS) as one modality if performing vascular sonography upon hire required
AND BCLS
•Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required What You Will Do Explain procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to and during exam. Perform complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations. Adjust ultrasound parameters appropriately for age related factors Assist Radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic techniqu Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, and suggest differential diagnosis Utilize proper downtown procedures for PACS, Ambra and HIS/RIS Work in tandem with staff to ensure laser images are placed of CD from modalityor, PACSare printed or Ambra as needed Additional perks of being a
