Job Description
Job Summary Women's Healthcare Affiliates is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Ultrasound Technologist to join our high-volume private practice. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care while working closely with our physicians and clinical staff. Duties Perform diagnostic obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations. Complete and accurately document up to 12 OB/GYN ultrasound exams for morning and afternoon clinic. Patient Volume dependant. Upload ultrasound images and reports accurately into the patient's electronic medical record. Ensure all images and documentation are associated with the correct patient chart. Assist providers by obtaining high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and Trophon high-level disinfection equipment. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume practice. Participate in the practice's elective 3D/4D ultrasound program. Maintain excellent patient care and communication throughout each examination. Work collaboratively with providers and staff in a fast-paced clinical environment. Flexibility with work hours based on daily patient volume and clinic needs. Experience Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. ARDMS (OB/GYN) registry required; ARRT (Sonography) will be considered. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred. Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience preferred. Experience in an OB/GYN physician office strongly preferred. Proficiency with electronic medical records (AthenaOne experience preferred). Ability to perform up to 12 obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations per day in a high-volume, fast-paced practice. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately upload ultrasound images and reports into the correct patient chart. Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills. Ability to adapt to changing workflows and work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff.
