Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate OB/GYN Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and medical imaging techniques, particularly in the field of Ob/Gyn. As a Ob/GYN Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care through the use of ultrasound technology to assist in diagnostic procedures. Responsibilities The OB/GYN Sonographer is responsible for performing obstetrical ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This position works under limited supervision, independently performing ultrasonographic procedures. Procedures performed require independent judgement, initiative, and ingenuity. The Sonographer would report directly to a Perinatologist. : Satisfactory completion of a DMS Program and passed OB Registry. Fetal Echo is preferred. Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification through the NTQR (Nuchal Translucency Quality Review) preferred Previous experience as an OB Sonographer.
