Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures across various specialties, including obstetrics, gynecology, vascular, and cardiac imaging. Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining a professional, caring demeanor. Capture clear, accurate images of anatomy such as fetal development, breast tissue, abdominal organs, vascular structures, and the heart. Analyze images for quality and completeness; adjust equipment settings as needed to optimize results. Maintain detailed patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems; document procedures thoroughly and accurately. Follow strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide preliminary findings when appropriate. Operate medical imaging equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all regulatory standards and best practices in medical imaging. Utilize Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for storing, retrieving, and sharing diagnostic images securely. Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology, physiology knowledge, and women's health diagnostics through ongoing education. Experience Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer with a strong background in medical imaging diagnostics. Demonstrated expertise in maternal-fetal medicine, gynecological ultrasound, breast ultrasound, abdominal ultrasound, and vascular ultrasound imaging. Knowledge of echocardiography techniques for cardiac assessments is highly desirable. Familiarity with Women's health and reproductive patient care practices is essential. Proficiency operating various medical imaging equipment along with picture archiving systems (PACS). Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and diagnostic radiology standards. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members while providing compassionate care.
