Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in general ultrasound in a healthcare setting ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Proficient with various ultrasound modalities and imaging equipment Strong communication skills with a collaborative, patient-centered approach Comfortable adapting to new protocols and working in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and high-quality ultrasound imaging studies as ordered by physicians Explain procedures clearly, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each exam Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records in accordance with established protocols Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment effectively Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal diagnostic outcomes Adhere to all infection control, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards
