Job Description

Position:

Ultrasound Technologist-OB/MFM Location:

Falls Church, VA 22042 Job type : 13 weeks

Contract Shift:

Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (08:00 AM - 04:00 PM)

Expected Weekly Hours:

40 hours/week

Local Rate Rate:

$65-68/hrs.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist with strong experience in vascular, general ultrasound, OB/GYN. This role requires versatility and the ability to perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures across diverse patient populations in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and established protocols. Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the examination and obtaining relevant medical history. Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images. Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently while adjusting technical settings for image quality. Perform examinations of abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, breast, thyroid, musculoskeletal, and small parts as applicable. Recognize normal and abnormal anatomy and identify significant pathological findings. Capture and document high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures, including biopsies, aspirations, drain placements, and injections when required. AL01

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of Ultrasound Tech-OB/MFM experience ARDMS certification (required) BLS(AHA) certification
