1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a night shift acute care position requiring

ARDMS ABD

certification and 3+ years of experience. Details Acute care hospital setting within the Main Diagnostic imaging department Patient population is mostly geriatric and adult with very limited pediatric workload Common exams include abdominal imaging, biophysical profiles for OB, and thyroid studies Uses Mindray Resona 7 and GE Fortis ultrasound equipment Charts in Meditech EHR Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Weekend coverage required every other weekend Call requirement of 2 weeknights per week with occasional weekend call appreciated No floating required Requirements ARDMS certification with ABD required; GYN, RVT, or OB certification a plus Minimum of 3 years of experience as a staff sonographer in general diagnostic ultrasound Completion of an accredited sonography program License required if applicable AHA certifications required Social security number and date of birth required for consideration Active licensure verification through Nursys required at time of consideration Copies of required certifications must be provided for consideration Additional Information Work alongside a tight-knit, community-focused imaging crew HCA or LifePoint health system experience preferred Prior experience with MindRay equipment preferred but not required Scrub color required is black or gray Uniforms displaying another health system or hospital are not permitted On-call lodging is available for call nights Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months Candidates must not be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
