Ultrasound Technologist

University of Vermont Medical Center Comments And Notes:
Replacement, need ASAP start! Assignment for 16-26 weeks. Rates are tiered based on mileage
  • measured by direct line not driving distance.
Travel (101 miles+), Radius (51-100 miles), Local (50 miles or less) Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasonographer:
OB/GYN, midwifery and
REI , MFM
that could do GYN, no breast experience required. Traveler will see up to 8 patients a day: 4 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. If they do a scan on a patient pregnant with twins, that counts as two scans so they would only see 3 in that half day. Facility is a large trauma 1 facility, (579 beds) with 2 sites on campus. Weekends on an as needed basis.
Requirements:
" ARDMS registered with OB/GYN credential " Prior travel is required " A minimum of 2 years of experience " Large, teaching hospital experience required " Techs must have experience in OB/GYN to include fetal anatomy scans (routine and detailed), follow-up OB, BPP, UMB and MCA dopplers, 1st trimester, pelvic, sonohystogram, HyCoSy " EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable

" IVS to OFFER " Monday to Sunday " No block schedules for any reason " Bi-weekly orientations on Monday, next available is 10/19 " Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained " This facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit
