2 Description American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer for a high-risk Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic requiring 2+ years experience and ARDMS certification. Details Acute care setting within a high-risk maternal fetal medicine clinic scanning only pregnant patients, no infants Main location in Tacoma, WA with 3 additional sites in Lakewood, Gig Harbor, and Federal Way Potential to float to additional sites within the region Common studies include detailed anatomy, BPP, growth scans, dopplers, and twin studies Average of 8-10 studies performed per day Uses GE and Phillips ultrasound machines EMR is EPIC with ViewPoint used as an interface between EPIC and PACS Monday-Friday day shift schedule, either 7:30 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch No weekend, holiday, or call/standby requirements 40 hours guaranteed per week over a 13-week assignment Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in maternal fetal medicine sonography ARDMS certification required BLS certification (AHA) required License required if applicable Must be a self-starter and team player able to work in a fast-paced, high-risk environment
