Key Responsibilities:
Perform vascular ultrasound studies and diagnostic sonography according to established protocols Prepare patients for imaging procedures, verifying patient history and consent Exercise sound judgment to ensure the highest diagnostic quality and patient safety Communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to meet performance standards Document patient data and imaging findings accurately in electronic records
Preferred Qualifications:
ARDMS certification in vascular ultrasound; additional sonography certifications are an asset Recent experience in a hospital or acute care environment Strong interpersonal skills and patient-focused attitude Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
