Schedule/Hours:
32 hours per week Four 8-hour shifts (Day shift)
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent ARDMS certification (or eligibility) in general ultrasound required Valid and current licensure, if applicable Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer in a clinical setting Proficiency in performing general ultrasound exams and operating related imaging equipment Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of general ultrasound examinations as ordered by healthcare providers Prepare and position patients appropriately for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout Utilize and maintain ultrasound equipment, adhering to quality control and infection prevention protocols Evaluate images for accuracy, quality, and diagnostic value, relaying significant findings to the appropriate medical staff Accurately document procedures, maintaining detailed records in accordance with facility standards Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and other professionals to optimize patient outcomes This contract position offers the chance to gain valuable experience and provide essential diagnostic services within a respected healthcare team.
