Job Description

Category Imaging - Ultrasound General Job Type Contract Step into a specialized imaging role focused on women's health in a collaborative outpatient clinic environment. This contract position is dedicated exclusively to ultrasound imaging for obstetrics and gynecology, utilizing advanced GE equipment in a well-resourced department featuring two scanners.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements
Qualifications:
Active BLS (AHA) certification Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OB/GYN (RDMS-OB/GYN) via ARDMS (Obstetrics and Gynecology certification strongly preferred) Proficient OBGYN ultrasound skills, including biophysical profiles (BPP), growth assessments, dating scans, and nuchal translucency Prefer experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting (8-10 scans per day) Comfortable using EPIC and Viewpoint systems Willingness to follow the department dress code (black scrubs provided) Experience level negotiable for candidates demonstrating proficiency in required scans
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality OB/GYN ultrasound exams independently within a two-scanner department, reporting to the clinic manager and working closely with the MFM team Complete examinations including BPP, growth, dating, and nuchal translucency, focusing solely on the assigned patient population—no floating to other areas or departments Accurately document studies and maintain patient records using EPIC and Viewpoint Participate in orientation to integrate with departmental workflows alongside full-time sonographers
