Dr. Kelly's Surgical Unit is seeking a Part-time Surgical Veterinarian for Dentals and soft tissue surgery. 2 days per week . Perfect for that roaming doctor or supplemental income. Your caseload would include dentals, mass removals, and other high value soft tissue procedures, all supported by highly trained technicians and modern equipment. Negotiable based on experience Responsibilities Perform surgical procedures with precision, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques. Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during and after surgery. Provide post-operative care and educate pet owners on recovery protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DEA regulations. Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure optimal animal care and handling. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree Valid DEA License Proven veterinary experience with a focus on surgical procedures Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and physiology Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques Experience in veterinary critical care and aseptic techniques Familiarity with animal husbandry and pet care practices
