Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-6:00 PM | 1-hour lunch | No weekends, nights, or on-call Job Overview We seek a motivated, compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative, AAHA-accredited practice in Angels Camp, CA. The hospital primarily treats small animals and offers wellness care, surgery, urgent care, and medical management. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with experienced support staff, modern diagnostic equipment, and professional development opportunities. Key Responsibilities Provide wellness, medical, surgical, and urgent care services. Examine, diagnose, and treat small and mixed-animal patients. Perform and assist with surgical procedures. Use diagnostic equipment to support patient care. Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and follow up with clients. Work collaboratively with technicians and other veterinarians. Provide excellent client service and support quality patient care. Qualifications Active California veterinary license required. Minimum of 1 year of veterinary experience; new graduates are not being considered. DEA license preferred; assistance with obtaining the license is available. Comfortable providing a range of veterinary services, including clinical and surgical care. Willingness to learn, develop skills, and manage cases.
