A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description

Napa Humane is offering something different. We are a high-quality spay/neuter clinic that believes high-volume does not have to mean high-stress. Our relief spay/neuter shifts are intentionally designed to be sustainable, predictable, and respectful of veterinarians and staff. You will spend your surgery day alongside our two experienced RVTs and vet assistant.
What our shifts look like:
$100/hour Approximately 7:30am-2:00pm with a real lunch break Around 20 or fewer surgeries Experienced, supportive team Clean, organized, well-run clinic Our goal is excellent medicine, meaningful impact, and veterinarians who can go home with energy left. Also hiring for one day per week, Preventive Care Clinic Veterinarian. The Napa Humane Preventive Care Clinic provides affordable veterinary care focused on wellness, vaccines, parasite prevention, and treatment of minor medical concerns, such as ear and skin issues, and guidance for pet owners on maintaining their pets' health. The PCC Vet is assisted by our RVT. Currently, we see between 12 to 14 patients at each Clinic from 9am to 3:30. There is a 30 minute break for lunch and our PCC shift rate is $100 per hour. Day of the Week is flexible
