A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Examine, diagnose, and treat companion animals Conduct wellness, sick-pet, and follow-up appointments Perform routine and soft-tissue surgical procedures Safely develop and manage anesthesia protocols, including patient monitoring, pain control, and post-operative recovery. Develop individualized treatment and preventive-care plans Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and home-care instructions to clients Maintain complete and accurate medical records Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other clinic staff Provide safe, ethical, and high-quality patient care Participate in emergency or urgent-care cases as neededQualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited institution, or completion of all ECFVG requirements for foreign veterinary graduates. Active veterinary license in California Experience managing a full appointment schedule Demonstrated surgical experience Strong diagnostic, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Commitment to client service, patient well-being, and professional growthPay:
