The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing comprehensive medical care, managing a full appointment schedule, diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, and performing both routine surgical procedures. Flexible schedule 3 to 5 days, with 22% production and no negative accrual. Salary negotiable based on experience. The veterinarian will work collaboratively with other associae veterinarians and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care, communicate clearly with pet owners, maintain accurate medical records, and contribute to a positive, professional clinic environment. Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to compassionate care are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Examine, diagnose, and treat companion animals Conduct wellness, sick-pet, and follow-up appointments Perform routine and soft-tissue surgical procedures Safely develop and manage anesthesia protocols, including patient monitoring, pain control, and post-operative recovery. Develop individualized treatment and preventive-care plans Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and home-care instructions to clients Maintain complete and accurate medical records Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other clinic staff Provide safe, ethical, and high-quality patient care Participate in emergency or urgent-care cases as needed
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited institution, or completion of all ECFVG requirements for foreign veterinary graduates. Active veterinary license in California Experience managing a full appointment schedule Demonstrated surgical experience Strong diagnostic, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Commitment to client service, patient well-being, and professional growth

$111,863.58 - $186,760.44 per year
