Healthy Pets Veterinary Hospital is an independent small animal practice in San Francisco, founded by Dr. Adam Piaseczny in 2010. We combine conventional veterinary medicine with an integrative approach, including nutrition, acupuncture, laser therapy, and other complementary treatments. Our team is experienced, supportive, and committed to providing high-quality care while giving our veterinarians the opportunity to practice medicine thoughtfully and build strong relationships with clients and their pets. We are looking for an experienced Veterinarian who enjoys working as part of a team, communicating with clients, and taking a comprehensive approach to patient care. This is a full-time, on-site role, working 4 days per week, with regular coverage needed on weekdays and 2 Saturdays each month. Veterinarian Responsibilities Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in dogs and cats Perform routine wellness exams and preventative care services Administer vaccinations and prescribe medications as needed Perform surgical procedures if comfortable doing so Communicate with pet owners regarding treatment plans, preventative care, and overall pet wellness Maintain detailed and accurate medical records Collaborate closely with the veterinary and support team to provide exceptional patient care Practice thoughtful, evidence-based medicine while remaining open to appropriate integrative approaches Support a positive, compassionate experience for both patients and their families Veterinarian Qualifications D.V.M. or V.M.D. degree from an accredited institution Active California veterinary license in good standing 3+ years of experience in small animal medicine Surgery experience is welcomed but not required Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health conditions Strong preventative care skills, including wellness exams and vaccinations Excellent communication and client education abilities Ability to work effectively in a medium-paced clinical environment Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset Commitment to compassionate patient care and continuing professional development Interest in, or openness to learning more about, integrative veterinary medicine Veterinarian Benefits Production Bonus Health benefits Paid time off and paid holidays Continuing education support Employee pet care discounts A collaborative team that genuinely enjoys working together Opportunities to grow professionally in both conventional and integrative veterinary medicine Join our team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners through expert veterinary care delivered with compassion and integrity!

$165,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
