Our main opening we are looking to fill would be weekends from 8am-6pm. You will have the opportunity to manage cases from initial triage through stabilization, treatment, and discharge or referral when appropriate.

Typical responsibilities include:

Performing thorough physical examinations and developing diagnostic and treatment plans Managing emergency and urgent-care cases Stabilizing critical patients Performing common emergency procedures and surgeries, as appropriate to your experience Interpreting laboratory work and diagnostic imaging Communicating clearly with pet owners about diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis Working closely with veterinary technicians and support staff Providing compassionate care while maintaining sound medical judgment What We're Looking For We are looking for a veterinarian who is: Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California Comfortable managing emergency and urgent-care cases Compassionate, confident, and an excellent communicator Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A team player who enjoys collaborating with technicians and other doctors Dedicated to practicing high-quality medicine Respectful of clients' financial circumstances and committed to finding appropriate treatment options whenever possible Experience in emergency medicine is preferred, but we are willing to consider veterinarians with strong general-practice experience who are interested in transitioning into emergency medicine.
