A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

- Perform pre-surgical examinations on patients prior to surgery.
- Safely and efficiently perform spay/neuter procedures.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
- Communicate effectively with clients.
- Perform additional medical procedures such as hernia repair, enucleation, amputation, dew claw removal.
- Collaborate with RVT staff regarding dental treatment/extraction plans Experience/ Qualification/Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine-DVM
- 2 years experience in small animal practice recommended but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Extensive mentorship available.
- Ability to safely and efficiently perform spay and neuter procedures. Job Type Full time (Part time options available)
- Monday thru Friday 8-5. No after hours, evening duty or on call required. Salary 160 k-200 k annual salary depending on experience (full time) Benefits (full time)
