Veterinarian - Animal Urgent Care & Bethel Veterinary Hospital A brand-new, PRIVATELY owned Animal Urgent Care Hospital is opening in Bethel, Connecticut, in December 2026 , and we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work part-time at our new Animal Urgent Care Hospital and part-time at Bethel Veterinary Hospital , giving you the flexibility and variety of practicing both urgent care and general veterinary medicine. Whether you have experience in urgent care or emergency medicine, or you're a confident general practitioner interested in expanding your skills in urgent care, we'd love to meet you! Why Join Us? What You'll Do At Animal Urgent Care Hospital:

Evaluate and treat urgent medical and surgical cases in dogs and cats. Perform diagnostics, develop treatment plans, and stabilize patients. Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners. Work closely with skilled technicians and support staff. Help establish a positive, patient-centered culture from the ground up.

At Bethel Veterinary Hospital:

Provide comprehensive wellness and general veterinary care. Diagnose and treat medical conditions in dogs and cats. Perform routine procedures and surgery based on experience and comfort level. Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Collaborate with our experienced veterinary team. Qualifications DVM or equivalent veterinary degree. Connecticut veterinary license (or ability to obtain one). Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills. Experience in general practice, urgent care, or emergency medicine. Emergency or urgent care experience is preferred but not required . Confident general practitioners interested in expanding into urgent care are encouraged to apply.
