General Practice Veterinarian - Small Animals Professional Summary We are seeking four dedicated and compassionate General Practice Veterinarians specializing in small animals (primarily dogs and cats) to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, with potential coverage for nearby hospital locations. The ideal candidate will possess a DVM degree , valid New Jersey veterinary licensure , and 2-5 years of experience in routine surgical procedures and comprehensive clinical care within a high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive clinical care to small animals, primarily dogs and cats. Perform routine surgical procedures with precision and care. Effectively manage cases in a high-volume clinic or hospital setting. Assist with emergency cases, including working weekends and rotating shifts as required. Maintain strong communication with pet owners and team members. Uphold a commitment to ethical and compassionate animal care. Technical Requirements (Must-have) DVM degree from an accredited institution. Valid New Jersey veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one. Approximately 2-5 years of experience treating small animals (dogs and cats). Proficiency in performing routine surgical procedures . Demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive clinical care . Ability to work effectively in a high-volume clinic or hospital environment . Availability to assist with emergency cases, weekends, or rotating shifts . Valid authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship .
