Description Advanced Veterinary Care of Pasco is entering an exciting new chapter under new, private ownership, and we're looking for an Associate Veterinarian who wants the opportunity to do more than simply see appointments at an established practice. We're building our team and refining our practice from the ground up, which means our Associate Veterinarian will have a meaningful voice in shaping our medical culture, standards of care, and the kind of veterinary practice where both people and patients are well cared for. If you're a compassionate clinician who enjoys practicing quality medicine, building strong client relationships, and collaborating with a supportive team, this could be the opportunity you've been searching for. As our Associate Veterinarian, you'll work closely with practice ownership and our Medical Director to provide high-quality medical and surgical care and help establish the protocols needed to support our growth. Our Associate Veterinarian will have access to mentorship and case collaboration with our Medical Director, providing an additional resource as you grow in your career. Whether you're an experienced associate or early in your career, that support will be tailored to you, with an opportunity to build confidence in medicine, surgery, client communication, and the day-to-day realities of practice life.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing wellness, preventive, sick, and urgent care for our patients Performing routine soft tissue surgery and dental procedures Diagnosing and developing treatment plans using in-house diagnostics, imaging, and reference labs Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients about diagnoses, treatment options, and estimates Maintaining accurate, timely, and thorough medical records Collaborating with and supporting the development of our technicians and assistants Helping establish and maintain medical protocols and standards of care Following up with clients on cases, results, and patient progress Supporting a positive, accountable, and collaborative workplace culture Effectively utilizing the skills of the support team to deliver efficient, high-quality care Working closely with ownership and the Medical Director on hospital goals and priorities Identifying opportunities to improve patient care, efficiency, communication, and client experience Jumping in to support the team and caseload when needed Because we're a small and growing practice, we're looking for a veterinarian who is team-oriented, approachable, and excited to help build something, rather than simply working through a schedule. New graduates and experienced veterinarians are both encouraged to apply. Candidates must hold, or be eligible for, a Florida State veterinary license. We welcome a range of clinical interests and experience levels, and we're happy to talk about what mentorship, support, and growth would look like for you.
Benefits Include:
Competitive pro-sal, with no negative accrual negotiable based on experience Medical insurance with 50% employer contribution Dental & Vision options available 100% employer paid Life Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability 401K with immediate participation eligibility Paid Time Off Discounted Personal Pet Care Mentorship and case collaboration with Medical Director Continuing Education support based on individual needs And more! If you're looking for an opportunity where you can practice quality medicine, make a meaningful impact, and help shape what comes next, we'd love to meet you!
