A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. Company DescriptionPoinciana Pet Clinic, a full-service small animal practice in Poinciana, FL, is hiring a motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our friendly, team-focused clinic. We provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care and pride ourselves on compassionate client communication and a collaborative workplace.

What you'll doProvide medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats.

Perform routine wellness exams, diagnostics, soft-tissue surgery, and dental procedures.

Communicate treatment plans and follow-up clearly and compassionately to clients.

Collaborate with support staff to maintain efficient patient workflow and excellent patient care.

Participate in practice quality improvement, record-keeping (medical records, SOAP notes), and compliance.

Job DescriptionFull Time or part-time veterinarian with weekend availabilityProficient in general medicine, surgery and dentistryAll levels of veterinarians are encouraged to applyQualifications DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school.

State of Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain).Strong clinical and surgical skills; interest in further skill development encouraged.

Excellent interpersonal and client-service skills.

Team-oriented attitude and dependable work ethic.
