A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Do you want to play a pivotal role in expanding services and leading or being a new team? Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital is excited to announce an expansion of our well-established daytime general practice, and we're looking for an Emergency/Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our growth!

You will provide essential emergency and urgent care services to patients when they need them most, working alongside a skilled and collaborative support team while helping to establish the protocols, workflows, and overall success of this exciting new service. This position is dedicated to overnight coverage, offering the opportunity to practice in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. DVM Licensed (or eligible) in Florida.Experience or strong interest in emergency/urgent care.
