8:00AM - 6:00PM ( 4 day work weeks) Closed Sundays Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our general practice, 3 doctor team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive medical care for a dogs and cats, ensuring their health, comfort, and well-being. Your expertise will help foster strong relationships with pet owners and contribute to the overall success of our veterinary practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in veterinary medicine, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ethical practice. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of animals, accurately diagnosing health issues using veterinary terminology and clinical ethical guidelines. Perform medical procedures including general anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, and emergency medicine interventions with precision and care. Utilize animal restraint techniques and aseptic methods to ensure safety for both animals and staff during examinations and treatments. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies while demonstrating professionalism and empathy. Maintain detailed medical records, laboratory reports, and treatment logs in accordance with veterinary standards. Work as a team with current veterinarians Experience New graduates are welcome Your days will include Preventative care and wellness visits Appointments, walk -ins and emergencies Perform routine surgeries and dental procedures Client communication Our hospital offers Current 3 full time veterinarians Digital X ray In house laboratory (IDEXX) No after hours or on calls Closed all major holidays Part time boarded surgeon, Internal Medicine Specialist, Ultrasound specialist Join us in delivering exceptional veterinary services that prioritize animal welfare while fostering a supportive environment for our team members!
Pay:
$130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
