We are a newly established, privately-owned small animal hospital located in the growing community of Parrish, Florida, just 15-30 minutes away from stunning Florida beaches and the bustling Tampa metropolitan area. Our state-of-the-art facility is seeking a full-time (or part-time) associate veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and building lasting relationships with both patients and clients. We provide advanced equipment to support your practice, including Idexx in-house blood machines, Sound digital radiology, Sound digital dental radiology, Bionet anesthesia monitor macines, and many more diagnostic tools. Our flexible scheduling allows for appointments ranging from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on each patient's needs, as you see fit. The position is available immediately. Part time or full time position available. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose health issues. Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as needed. Perform surgical procedures with precision and care. Provide guidance to pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition. Maintain accurate medical records for each patient. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and staff to ensure high-quality care. Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and best practices. Requirements Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution. State licensure to practice veterinary medicine. Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures. Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and staff. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
