Locally Owned DVM Opportunity | Saint Petersburg, FL We are working on behalf of a locally owned, gold-standard small animal hospital in Saint Petersburg, FL that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its growing team. This is a thoughtfully built practice that places equal emphasis on high medical standards, exceptional client experience, and team wellbeing. The hospital is grounded in a clear belief that veterinary medicine works best when a practice is independently owned and operated — meaning every decision is made with patients, pet parents, and people in mind, not corporate metrics. The team operates out of a welcoming, well-equipped facility with comprehensive in-house diagnostic capabilities, including digital imaging, blood, urine, and fecal analysis, alongside a reference lab partnership for advanced testing. Doctors here practice the full breadth of small animal medicine, from preventative wellness and dentistry to soft tissue surgery and chronic disease management. Whether you are an experienced DVM or a confident newer graduate looking for a collaborative team, this is a culture of purpose where doctors are supported by an experienced practice manager, lead technician, and a tight-knit team of CSRs and technicians. DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US You hold (or are eligible for) Florida state veterinary licensure 2+ years of experience in a small animal general practice is preferred Passionate about high-quality, ethical, client-focused medicine Strong communicator who genuinely enjoys building long-term relationships with pet parents Collaborative team player who thrives in a tight-knit, locally owned environment Open to learning, growth, and contributing to a culture that prioritizes both patient and team wellbeing
