ASSOCIATE VETERINARY FOR DYNAMIC GROWING PRACTICE IN THE HEART OF TAMPA

Welcome to The Heights Veterinary Clinic, a progressive, privately owned veterinary practice (non-corporate) in the heart of Tampa Heights, minutes from Downtown Tampa. Our state-of-the-art animal hospital opened in August 2020 with a recent expansion and renovations in 2026. We are looking for a Rockstar vet to join our growing team and rapidly growing clinic. Our practice is located in a newly reconstructed 5500sqft space featuring a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital practicing general and integrative veterinary medicine. Our facility is equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, two ultrasounds, laser therapy, shockwave therapy, separate surgical and dental suites, and a large therapy room with an underwater treadmill. We are located at 3400 N. Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33603 in the Tampa Heights area, the fastest growing neighborhood in Tampa. Our veterinary team will service the pet communities of Tampa Heights, Downtown Tampa and Channelside, Riverside Heights, Ybor City, Seminole Heights, West Tampa, South Tampa and beyond. We provide optimum standards of care with our pet heath care services which begins with a compassionate, team-oriented, friendly and highly-skilled staff. We currently have 3 full time doctors, 1 part time doctor, and a traveling doctor who does orthopedic and advanced soft tissue surgery. We are interviewing for a 4th full-time doctor as we expand into our new addition.

Full-time Positions Available:

1 Level of experience: Surgery experience required. Will be expected to do dog spays, cat spays, dog and cat neuters, cryptorchid surgeries, hernia repairs, and dentals. Additional surgery experience doing cystotomies and GI surgery ideal but not required.

Hours of Operation:

Hospital hours are 7:45 AM

• 6:00 PM.

Associate vet hours will be 8:00 AM to approximately 6:00 PM depending on case load. Currently there are no weekend hours as the hospital is currently closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
