Full Job Description Practice:
Cat Care of Vinings opened its doors in 2006 with a vision to provide top-quality feline healthcare. Cat Care of vinings is a feline-only, AAHA accredited, AAFP Cat Friendly Practice that serves the Vinings, Smyrna, and North West Atlanta communities. We offer extensive wellness care, as well as comprehensive care for chronically ill patients, full digital radiography, echocardiography, ultrasound imaging (as well as US guided biopsies and aspirates), top of the line in-house laboratory diagnostics and gold standard oral health care (oral assessments, digital dental rads, FME, etc) and medical grooming procedures.

Position Summary Cat Care of Vinings is seeking an experienced, full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our well-established feline-exclusive practice in the Atlanta area. This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine, values strong client relationships, and is confident performing routine soft tissue surgery. Our team is committed to providing exceptional, compassionate care in a collaborative and supportive environment where both patients and team members thrive. We take pride in practicing progressive medicine while creating a low-stress experience for our feline patients and their owners. The ideal candidate is an experienced clinician who is comfortable working independently while also enjoying collaboration with an engaged veterinary team. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, sound medical judgment, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding client experience. Surgery experience is required, and an interest in continuing to grow professionally is highly valued. Requirements/Qualifications:
Qualifications DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution. Active Georgia veterinary license (or ability to obtain). Eligibility to obtain DEA and controlled substance registration. Minimum of 3 years of small animal experience. Proficiency in routine soft tissue surgery required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and over 25 pounds with assistance.
