A Veterinarian provides medical care to animals. Diagnoses and treats illnesses and injuries. Specializes in treating either pets and small domesticated animals, or large animals and livestock, or wild animals. May work on farms, in zoos and wildlife sanctuaries, in animal shelters, or in hospitals or clinics that specialize in caring for animals. May inspect livestock used for food and check compliance with food safety regulations, or work in laboratories doing clinical research on animal and human diseases.

Job Description
North Dekalb Veterinary Clinic has been serving the Decatur, Emory, Tucker and Atlanta area veterinary clients for over 40 years. We have 4 experienced caring veterinarians and a friendly knowledgeable staff to serve you and your pet. Our doctors are up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of Veterinary medicine and Veterinary pharmacology.
We offer a variety of veterinary care for dogs and cats including surgery, X-Rays and dentistry.
We proudly provide veterinary care for all of the Dekalb County K-9 Officers, the Dekalb County Sheriff K-9 Officers and the Dekalb County Fire K-9s.
