Requirements Valid veterinary license with current certification to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, veterinary terminology, medical-surgical procedures, and aseptic techniques. Hands-on experience with veterinary critical care practices, laboratory testing, and pet grooming is preferred. Familiarity with Veterinary Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations and USDA guidelines for medication management.
