Description MedVet Wilmette will be a state-of-the-art 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital located outside of Chicago in beautiful Wilmette, Illinois. About the Position We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate emergency veterinarian to join our team. Interest and ability to perform emergency surgeries is desired but not required. As an emergency veterinarian at MedVet Wilmette , you will be responsible for providing expert care to small animals in need of immediate medical attention. Our new hospital will feature a state-of-the-art emergency surgical suite, patient rooms, and triage area. You will work closely with our team of experienced veterinary technicians and specialists at MedVet Chicago to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. Qualifications DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school Valid Illinois veterinary license Emergency and critical care experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong surgical skills (desired) Passion for providing excellent patient care
Pay Transparency:
MedVet compensates doctors using a production-plus-salary model. The base salary range for this position is $160,000-$250,000 annually, not including quarterly production bonuses. Total compensation is determined by several factors, including experience and production earned.
