Position Purpose:

Compensation:
$90,000-$100,000 annually Best Friends Animal Hospital is hiring an Associate Veterinarian . What your day looks like You practice small animal medicine in a calm, organized setting. You focus on patient care and build strong client relationships without a rushed pace. Essential Responsibilities:
What You'll Be Doing Examine, diagnose, and treat small animal patients Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs Perform soft-tissue surgical procedures and dental treatments Interpret diagnostic results including lab work and imaging Prescribe medications and recommend preventative care Educate clients on treatment options and long-term care Maintain accurate and timely medical records Practice medicine in accordance with veterinary ethics and regulations
Requirements/Qualifications:
Requirements & Qualifications DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution. Appropriate state licensure. Eligibility to obtain
DEA/BNDD.
Vet will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients. Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
